Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) are determined to continue their winning momentum in the Super League as they prepare to face Penang FC at the Bandaraya Stadium tomorrow evening.
Following a convincing victory over Sabah FC at home, the Hobin Jang Hobin squad now aim to bring home another three points to Seremban.
Centre-back Zainal Abidin Jamil stressed that although playing away presents its own challenges, the team is ready to execute Head Coach Nidzam Jamil’s game plan to secure a positive result.
“We cannot underestimate Penang just because they are positioned lower in the league. Anything can happen in football, and we must not be complacent or overconfident. Penang have yet to record a win this season, which means they will be fighting even harder—especially with the support of their home fans,” said Zainal.
The 26-year-old defender added that Penang possess both quality and experience, making them a team capable of springing surprises against any opponent.
“We have to stay alert throughout the match and avoid mistakes that could allow them to capitalise. Our focus must be on giving 100 percent commitment and carrying out the coach’s instructions with full discipline,” he continued.
Currently sitting fifth in the Super League standings with eight points from five matches, NSFC are looking to build further momentum as the season progresses.
