For the 2025 season, he returns to familiar ground as Head Coach of the Negeri Sembilan FC Under-20 (B-20) team, carrying with him decades of experience at the highest level of the game.

On the international stage, Norhafiz earned 66 caps with the Malaysia national team, proudly wearing the captain’s armband and leading the side at the AFC Asian Cup 2007. His calm demeanour, positional awareness, and leadership at the back made him a trusted figure for Harimau Malaya throughout his international career.
At club level, Norhafiz represented several of Malaysia’s leading teams, including Negeri Sembilan FC, Pahang, Kelantan, and Pulau Pinang. One of the defining moments of his domestic career came in 2011, when he played a key role in helping Negeri Sembilan lift the Malaysia Cup, a historic achievement that remains a source of pride for the club and its supporters.
He also enjoyed success at youth international level, contributing to Malaysia’s silver medal finish at the 2001 SEA Games with the Under-23 squad, highlighting his consistency and influence across different stages of his career.
