Negeri Sembilan FC Issues Official Statement on Season Direction and Squad Planning

Negeri Sembilan Football Club has released an official statement to address its supporters, reaffirming the club’s strategic direction and approach as the 2025 Liga Super season progresses.

The club management expressed its highest appreciation to all loyal supporters for the unwavering backing shown throughout the first half of the season. Whether at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Paroi or from afar, the continuous support has been a vital source of strength for the team in navigating a demanding and competitive campaign.

As a club currently undergoing a recovery and rebuilding phase, Negeri Sembilan FC emphasised that every decision is made with realism, responsibility, and long-term sustainability in mind. Management highlighted the need to carefully balance supporters’ aspirations, on-field performance requirements, and the club’s financial stability to ensure long-term continuity and growth.

The statement also noted that the current Negeri Sembilan FC squad is among the youngest in the Liga Super. In line with this, planning for the mid-season transfer window has been carried out with careful consideration of squad needs—particularly the importance of adding experience and leadership—while remaining fully committed to the club’s philosophy of youth development as the foundation of its future.

Any incoming players, the club explained, will be selected based on tactical suitability, professionalism, and their ability to guide and complement the existing squad. These moves are not intended to deliver instant, short-term transformation, but rather to strengthen the team’s structure and ensure performance stability for the remainder of the season and beyond.

The club concluded by reaffirming that all decisions are taken after thorough evaluation and in alignment with both short- and long-term planning. Official Statement: Prohibited Items Policy at Stadium STAR Paroi

Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) wishes to clarify recent discussions regarding the prohibition of bringing bottles and personal drink containers such as tumblers into the stadium during the recent match against Sabah FC.

This policy is fully aligned with Article 2.44.3 (iii)(a) of the Malaysia League Manual 2025–2026, which clearly states that bottles, glass containers, plastic bottles, tumblers, and other similar objects are classified as prohibited items. These items are not permitted within the stadium perimeter as they pose potential safety and security risks.

Furthermore, under Article 2.44.3 (iii)(f), food vendors and spectators are also restricted from bringing in outside food, beverages in bottles, or solid containers. Exceptions may apply only for items such as baby food or medical necessities.

Why the Policy Exists

The restriction is not only about safety but also about maintaining stadium cleanliness and ensuring an enjoyable matchday experience for everyone. The club emphasizes that a secure, clean, and comfortable environment for all fans is its top priority.

Fans are therefore strongly advised not to bring tumblers, bottles, or other prohibited items listed by the Malaysian Football League (MFL). The full list includes items such as:

  • Bottles and tumblers
  • Cigarettes and e-cigarettes
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Firecrackers and flares
  • Sharp objects
  • Umbrellas, helmets, vuvuzelas, air horns, and large bags (A4 size or bigger)
  • Outside food and drinks (including sunflower seeds/kuaci)
  • Drones and laser pointers

Official Statement: Enhancements to Matchday Experience at Paroi

Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) would like to extend its deepest appreciation to all supporters who have shown unwavering passion and loyalty in our recent matches. The electrifying atmosphere created by our fans is a true reflection of the big heart and spirit of the NSFC family.

The extraordinary backing of our Sekalian Yang Setia has inspired the club’s management to further improve areas related to the team, training facilities, and most importantly, the matchday experience. As part of this ongoing commitment, several new measures will be implemented:

1. Ticket Capacity

To ensure maximum comfort and safety, ticket allocations at the Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman will now be adjusted in line with projected attendance for both home and away supporters. Entry through Gate D (away section) will be fully utilised, with strict safety supervision in place.

2. Ticket Redemption System

In collaboration with TicketHotline, the club will introduce a new ticket redemption system beginning with the fixture against Sabah FC on 27 September 2025. 

Three entry lanes will be implemented:

  • Season Pass lane
  • Physical Ticket lane
  • E-Ticket (online) lane

3. Matchday Experience Team

A dedicated “Matchday Experience” team will be deployed to oversee and streamline crowd movement into the stadium and enhance the overall atmosphere throughout the matchday.

4. Ticketing for Sabah Fixture

To reduce last-minute congestion and provide smoother access, online ticket sales for the Liga Super fixture vs Sabah FC (27 September 2025) are now available at www.tickethotline.com.my, with 15,000 tickets immediately on sale. Remaining physical tickets will be released closer to matchday.
