Tactical Discipline Inspires NSFC’s Commanding 3-0 Victory Over Sabah

Negeri Sembilan FC (NSFC) delivered a statement performance at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi, securing a resounding 3-0 triumph over Sabah FC in the Super League. The victory was built on tactical discipline, relentless effort, and a newfound balance between attack and defense.

Head coach Nidzam Jamil praised his squad for showing significant improvement compared to their last two outings, highlighting how the team’s structure and stability translated into a dominant display.

One of the key highlights was the midfield partnership, anchored by Alex Agyakwa, whose tireless work not only closed down Sabah’s spaces but also launched swift attacking transitions alongside Takumi Sasaki and A. Selvan.

Up front, Jovan Motika and Joseph Esso ensured the chances created did not go to waste, with Esso in particular drawing praise from his coach.

“We knew Sabah came with a squad full of experience, but our strong combinations and the players’ commitment managed to neutralize their threats,” said Nidzam.

“Esso is the perfect example of a modern striker – not only did he score, but he also worked hard defensively until the final whistle,” he added.

The commanding win sees NSFC climb to fourth place in the league with eight points, sending a strong message that the Jangs are finding their rhythm and form.
