New Negeri Sembilan FC goalkeeper Azri Ghani opened up about his move from KL City to NSFC, describing the experience as emotional but full of promise.
“It was tough leaving the place where I grew up, but I believe this move is part of my journey, and there’s something meaningful waiting for me in Negeri Sembilan,” said Azri.
“I’m not afraid to start fresh. I want to learn, adapt, and grow in this new environment, with new teammates and a new life.”
Reflecting on pre-season preparations and recent friendly matches, Azri is optimistic about the squad’s development:
“The team is exciting, the players, the coach… everything looks promising. I just hope we can adapt quickly and perform well this season, InshaAllah.”
Looking ahead to a challenging start in the Super League with tough opponents, Azri remains confident:
“When you go up against top teams early on, it’s a chance to prove ourselves. I believe NSFC can show strong performances and compete well.”
He also delivered a heartfelt message to the fans:
“To all Jangs, your support at the stadium means everything. We need you there to lift us, especially in tough moments.
Please continue backing the team, and we’ll give our best for Negeri.”
